Hello VLP members,
We have been asked to pass this on from NHS Liverpool CCG. It is mostly aimed at service users and language professionals in Liverpool, but may also be of interest to those outside the area who wish to engage their CCG with this kind of feedback. Please do share with anyone who may be interested and eligible to respond.
VLP Management Committee
We are asking people for their views on communication & language support provided in the NHS across Liverpool and Sefton. This includes using interpreters, materials translated into other languages, and alternative format information such as easy read, audio and braille. This short film from Dr Monica Khuraijam puts it better!
As part of improving care for patients, we want to know from people who use communication & language support services – what works well, and what could be better? This feedback could be about the communication support in local hospitals, GP surgeries, GP out of hours services, community clinics, mental health services, or even the care you have received in your own home. It could be for yourself, a family member, or someone else you help care for.
You can share your views now by filling out this short online questionnaire here - it’s open until 2nd November 2020.
In addition to the above questionnaire for patients/service users, we are also seeking the views of health professionals, community groups, and interpreters/translators, and you can find a separate online questionnaire designed for each of these groups below:
All of the feedback will be used to help improve the quality of language services for patients.
To request this information in another language or format, please call: 0151 247 6409, text: 07920 206 386, or email: email@example.com
For more information, please visit our project webpage.
If you can share this with others you think might find it interesting, that would be very much appreciated.
Many thanks and best wishes to you
