Our new website is now up and running and it is great to see that a lot of you have already signed up for your new accounts.
There is now a member’s section on the website which includes a new forum, webinars, member search, policies and CPD tools. We plan to keep adding more resources to this area for members as the website grows, focusing on the priorities revealed in the member survey of 2020.
The Loop has now moved to a more structured forum on the new website which should be easy to navigate and access from either the desktop website or Wix Mobile app. The new forum will help us keep a better record of topics discussed, allow you to follow certain posts or members, search for past discussions and start new threads.
We must acknowledge the hard work that was originally put into creating the original Loop and the time spent moderating it by Malcom over the years. We are currently looking at whether it is possible to archive past posts and will keep you updated on the outcome of this.
To access the new forum you first need to sign up to the website as a NEW member ( previous log in details will not work on the new site) by competing the sign up form on the login page.
Click Member log in in the top right hand corner of the site homepage.
Complete the sign-up form in full and press sign up. Admins will then need to approve your membership ( just to make sure we don’t get any non-members trying to access the site) Once your membership is approved you will then be able to access all of the member only pages.
Select ‘The Loop’ from the dropdown members menu which appears when you click o the members area on the top right corner of the screen.
Click anywhere on the image to be taken directly to The Loop.
Here you can post, read, search and follow posts on the different boards in the forum. Please note that all posts are subject the VLP forum policy which can be found on the bottom of the forum page.
You can also access the loop on your mobile. There are instructions on how to do this in the members area of the site, with links to download the app and the access code you will need to connect to the VLP app and have access to the mobile members section too.
We really hope that you enjoy the new style of the Loop and that it develops to become as much of a great resource as the original loop was for sharing information amongst the profession.
